About ORLSON
The professional body for ENT care in Nigeria
Advancing ear, nose, and throat care in Nigeria through professional collaboration, research, and public education.
Our story
Who we are
The Otorhinolaryngological Society of Nigeria (ORLSON) is the association of otorhinolaryngologists — ear, nose and throat (ENT), head and neck surgeons — and allied professionals practising in Nigeria and the diaspora.
The Society exists to advance the science and practice of otorhinolaryngology, to support the training and welfare of its members, to set and uphold professional standards, and to promote ear, nose and throat health among Nigerians through research, education and advocacy.
ORLSON’s activities are coordinated by an elected National Executive Council, overseen by a Board of Trustees, and delivered through state and diaspora chapters, standing committees, the Nigerian Journal of Otorhinolaryngology and the Annual General Meeting & Scientific Conference.
