Requirements, membership categories and how to complete your registration with ORLSON.
Registration requirements

Evidence of qualification from either or both colleges, or an equivalent recognised by the
Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN):
- Diploma in ORL
- ORL membership examination certificate
- Fellowship certificate
- Other recognised qualifications
- Annual dues must be up to date for all Fellows.
Membership categories
- Otorhinolaryngologist (ORL) with diploma qualification
- Audiologist
- Speech and language therapist
- ORL resident doctors
- Fellows of both colleges or the equivalent
A note to prospective members
Membership of ORLSON is open to those who fulfil the following:
- Meet the membership category and qualification requirements above.
- Submit an application with proof of recognised qualification(s) and a verified, up-to-date annual dues payment to the ORLSON President and/or the Membership Committee Chair.
- Accepted applicants are directed to the ORLSON website to complete registration by providing the required information.
- On completion, each member receives a unique ORLSON Identification Number (O-I-N) and a certificate of ORLSON membership.
