Registration guidelines

Registration requirements

1. Evidence of qualification from either or both colleges, or an equivalent recognised by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN):
   • Diploma in ORL
   • ORL membership examination certificate
   • Fellowship certificate
   • Other recognised qualifications
2. Annual dues must be up to date for all Fellows.

Membership categories

• Otorhinolaryngologist (ORL) with diploma qualification
• Audiologist
• Speech and language therapist
• ORL resident doctors
• Fellows of both colleges or the equivalent

A note to prospective members

Membership of ORLSON is open to those who fulfil the following:

1. Meet the membership category and qualification requirements above.
2. Submit an application with proof of recognised qualification(s) and a verified, up-to-date annual dues payment to the ORLSON President and/or the Membership Committee Chair.
3. Accepted applicants are directed to the ORLSON website to complete registration by providing the required information.
4. On completion, each member receives a unique ORLSON Identification Number (O-I-N) and a certificate of ORLSON membership.
