ORLSON welcomes otorhinolaryngologists, trainees and allied ear, nose and throat professionals.

Otorhinolaryngologist (ORL)

Practising ENT specialists holding a diploma qualification in otorhinolaryngology.

Fellows

Fellows of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria and/or the West African College of Surgeons in ORL, or the recognised equivalent.

ORL resident doctors

Doctors in accredited residency training programmes in otorhinolaryngology.

Audiologists

Qualified audiologists working in hearing assessment, rehabilitation and hearing-health services.

Speech & language therapists

Professionals in the assessment and management of speech, language, voice and swallowing disorders.

Associate / allied

Other professionals contributing to ear, nose and throat care, subject to the Society’s requirements.

Common questions

Who is eligible to join?
Otorhinolaryngologists with a diploma qualification, Fellows of the relevant colleges or equivalent, ORL resident doctors, audiologists and speech-language therapists — with qualifications recognised by the MDCN.
How do I register?
Confirm your category and qualifications, apply with proof of qualification and up-to-date dues to the President or Membership Committee Chair, then complete registration on the membership portal once accepted.
What is the O-I-N?
On completing registration, every member receives a unique ORLSON Identification Number (O-I-N) together with a certificate of membership.
How are dues paid?
Annual dues are managed through the membership portal. Dues must be up to date, particularly for Fellows.
